Comments: Having a whole album produced by the lesser known half of the Neptunes doesn't seem too appealing. That is of course until you actually give this album a listen, once this is done, it's obvious who the talented one was in The Neptunes. Really good album all the way through.

Comments: Now, normally this would be a bit higher..but it was (or would have been) included in my album list for last year. Lily is an awesome (and very welcome) breath of fresh air. 38. Rogue Wave - Asleep At Heaven's Gate
Comments: Honestly, first time I heard of Rogue Wave was through the various OC soundtracks, but since then I gotta say I've really enjoyed their music. Well, after an apparent break their back with (IMO) a very sold album full of hooks and great lyrics.

37. Mika - Life In Cartoon Motion
Comments: You either love him or hate him, there is no in between on this guy. Some say he's pretty much the next Freddy Mercury (at least vocally) some say he's just annoying, whatever the case may be, he makes awesome catchy music. I mean, there's no way "Grace Kelly" has not at one point been stuck in your head at least once. His album is full of fun little pop songs that will pretty much cement him a place in the industry for a while.

36. Blakq Audio - Cexcells
Comments: One of the things I least expected was to hear an electro-ish Depeche Mode-like album from the screaming dude in AFI. Didn't know what to expect, but when I gave in and downloaded, I was not disappointed. Awesome music, and I really hope to see more of these guys soon.
