Why doesn't she have any scenes together with Trey? It seems so random and out of place that they both have separate shots the entire video.

Personally, I'm mad at random Trey Songz taking up half of the video posing & thinking he's cute. He's not even with Mariah in any of the scenes. It's so O/T. And Mariah's just half-naked sitting on a rock melodramatically throwing her hands everywhere. She just sits.

I'm just like... she's given us Honey, Heartbreaker, My All, Always Be My Baby, etc. etc. etc. Even when she serves simple, it still used to be cute & worth watching. This just bored me. Whatever, still love the song, though.

Well, it reflects the lyrics. He suffers in dreams of her all through the night.

But I think the studio scenes are quite contrary to the outdoor scenes, so they seem kind of out of place to me but oh well.

And the other reason why they have no scenes together is because Mariah shot the video in Puerto Rico, but Trey couldn't come so that's why they have no scenes together in the original. They both will be in the remix video, but there is a different director for that one.
