i think he means 4 years WITH ALL THE CRAP SHE'S BEEN PUT THROUGH. mariah had that whole meltdown thing but thats not nearly as bad as Brits two years of intense bad press that got to a new high this year. beyonce sold 600k with BDay right? i dont think she could have done it either.

exactly...people like Paris Hilton who nobody really knew became really famous because of bad press and used it to make a name for herself with Simple Life. I think she got more hated as time went on though lol
