When I'm walking, I have to make sure I hit all the steps evenly. ![Dancehall Queen](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/dancehall_zps88e4c4c6.png)

Another weird habit that I do is that for e.g if I accidentally bang my left foot against the wall or something, i have to bang my right foot to make it feel "even". However if i banged my right foot too hard trying to make it even, I have to bang my left foot again to try to balance it out LOL.
I also have the tendency to check things twice so like if I go and lock the door, and I come back into bed I'll think to myself "what if I accidentally opened the door when I tried to lock it", then I'll have to go back and check. Maybe that's more of paranoia.
So what odd OCD do you guys suffer from? ![eli's_rhythm](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/eli_zps0932edf9.gif)

I do all of these except for the foot thing.
I have to rinse a glass of water 6 times before I can drink from it.

I keep all my CDs sealed, and I freak out if any of them are scratched or things like that, I don't like using the stuff I buy, for some reason I tend to keep them sealed until I really need to use them.
I always lock my door before going to sleep, I just can't sleep if the door is open.
and I make all my sexual partners take a shower right before we get into it.

The last part!!! I'm a librarian and I always arrange books by their size at home. Also at work I hate when books are on the shelf and they are all uneven like some are pushed back or some pulled up front. I have to have them all in a nice line.

- All of my clothes must be folded a certain way
- All of my DVDs are grouped together & my Blu-rays are separate
- I set my apps on my iPod up in a certain order
- It bothers me when certain things are dirty (clothes, dishes, rooms)
- I always put things in a stacked or alphabetical order
There's more but I'd be here all night typing

Ummm...none of these are OCD habits. OCD is a serious mental disorder that has claimed too many lives and makes life hell for thousands of people. It isn't keeping things organized, or liking to eat a certain way, it's fearing that everyone you love will die if you don't say a certain prayer before bed, it's shutting yourself up and washing yourself until you're raw because you're worried you might hurt someone, it's intrusive violent images in your head you can't control.

Well, my habits are controlled by the fear of someone dying/ getting hurt. Does that work?

I do the same thing, but I open all of my CDs to read the booklet ALWAYS I rarely even use the actual CD. I basically have CDs for collectors.
I keep all of my DVDs/CDs in shoe boxes, I would love to have them out on a shelf but I fear they'll collect dust/get scratched

Yes ![JonnyϟLightning](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/jonny_zpsc73391c5.png)
My 3 fav pairs of skinny jeans are black, and my work clothes are black trousers and shirt. One of my job roles (I work in a card shop) on the shop floor is to sell as many giant teddy bears as possible, so I literally have to walk around with a bear enduring every single follicle of fur being brushed against my shirt. It's a torture.

I knew there would be one member who was going to say this. Which is why is stated " weird OCD habit". I understand that there are some people who really do suffer from serious OCD. My heart goes out to them.

![cries](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRLSmilies/45ab1e3e.gif) All the things everyone's listing! I thought I was the only one
I have to make my body feel "even," I check all the doors in my house before I go to sleep, I always have to go up stairs starting with my left foot, and so much more. The volume thing being on a number I like (not 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, etc). All my emails have to be read, my apps on my phone, etc. It's manageable but it sometimes gets hard ![JonnyϟLightning](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/jonny_zpsc73391c5.png)

Yes, when I watch TV the volume HAS to be a multiple of 5.
I also HAVE to walk within the lines of the tiles on the sidewalk.

Depends. In order for it to be OCD, you have to have several obsessions that make you feel like you have to do something even though you know that it's irrational and it has to interfere with daily life ie preventing you to get places on time, preventing sleep.
