MySpace died for more than just "dwindling interest".
Not saying this methodology is wrong. I'm saying it takes more than just that. For starters FB has a tremendous hold on adults, something MySpace never had. Young audiences are fickle, of course they were gonna move on to the next new thing eventually. Adults don't leave a social network as easily unless a BETTER replacement arises. So far nothing has.
