They only became aware of the rule within the last 24 hours and rushed to change it just to cause drama. They did it to spite Britney obviously. I've noticed Billboard has negatively bashed Britney recently so i'm not suprised.
I mean, its not like just because she wasnt #1 the album wont be a success its just that she could'ave kept her record of consecutive #1 debuts a little longer and made it harder for people to break it. And of course the tabloids would print good news for once. Now they're all gonna be like "BRITNEY'S ALBUM BOMBS" when had she sold the exact amount of records and been #1, they'd be praising her. What a difference a position makes.

You are right. Spears's album won't be a success because it sold less than half of her last album's debut week. Her publicly embarrassing events have finally caught up with her. Nice try at trying to regain her youth, but she failed miserably.

I don't want to blame anyone, but we seriously should have bought blackout way more times. Eagles stans bought more copies than we did. We let down Britney this time, and it ain't fair. What a dissappointment.

Its nobody's fault. Buying blackout 3 more times would'ave have made a difference. Her sales wouldnt be drastically different. Her sales arent the problem to me, they're just fine the way they are, its the fact that every website is gonna headline news that Britney missed the #1 spot tomorrow morning...
