Taylor is more consistent with her vocal delivery whereas Katy tends to sound nasal very often. They're both at the same level when it comes to the technical part of it.

I love Taylor, but let's face it. Her voice is nothing special. She is a sweet girl with a beautiful voice and a really great songwriting talent, but her songwriting is far superior to her vocals. Her vocals are good, they're just nothing special. Katy does have a really powerful and great voice, though. Katy has a much better voice than Taylor.

At least Taylor sounds good live despite not having a great voice, while Katy always tries to reach high notes live and she is always off key.. I've never seen a decent vocal performance by Katy Perry, while Taylor Swift has plenty of good vocal performances.
