Growing up in the technological age people think that all old world mysticism is a crock of **** but things like astrology are the primordial forms of science, predating all of our modern devices. I think they deserve some sort of respect. There are powers at work in our universe far greater than we could ever comprehend, and it's incredibly arrogant to write them all off based solely on one's limited view.

My Mom went while she was in her early 20s. She was told she would have four children and it came true. My mother had me and my two younger siblings in the 90s after that she planned to not have anymore kids, but she got pregnant with my youngest sister and didn't even know she was pregnant till almost 5 months. She literally showed no signs of being pregnant.
Nope..she was still getting her period during the whole pregnancy. She ended up in the hospital twice because of it.
edit: or should i say she had something that resembled a period cycle during that time(since your hormones that causes periods stop during pregnancy). Ugh hard to explain.
