I hate my "father". Had the absolute worst relationship with him growing up enduring sexual, emotional, and physical abuse from him and didn't shed one tear when he died.

I love mine, he's seriously so sweet and gentle, my friends are always like; damn your dad is the nicest person ever.
We have a fine relationship. It was much better when I was younger, but ever since my parents divorced our relationship declined. We're on good terms though. I wish we could be closer but he's currently a mess and he has to get himself together before I even try to make us closer again.
yeah my dad sucks he was an awful person to my mother and an even worse father

My family has always been dysfunctional. My father finally permanently left (got kicked out) this year. We still see him and are on amicable terms. I guess we were better apart than together.
The drama inside my household has truly affected me emotionally and mentally. I don't know. I love my father and I believe that one should love their family members. It's all just been a nearly 17-year long hurtful situation.
