I have mad respect for Yoko. I think she's taking it a biT far with that statement though. Gaga's definitely the most "traditional" artistic musician on the Top 40, though, which is both a good and bad thing depending.
I am not trying to say that the title isn't true. Instead, I was just pointing out that the title implies something that is not true, that she said that Gaga is the only reason that art isn't dead.
Let's not act like people on this website, and in general, do not just read a title and run with it.
And why the **** would you bring beyonce's name to this thread?
Because she is one of the few musicians out right now that is also an ARTIST. Yoko was trying to say that art (in music) would be dead without artists who push the envelope, experiment, and try to create ART with their music. Beyoncé does exactly that with her music just like Lady Gaga and Kanye West do.
I am not trying to say that Beyoncé is more of an artist than Lady Gaga.
