THE 20/20 EXPERIENCE
Justin Timberlake
Release Date: March 2013
At #15, we have Justin Timberlake’s comeback album which spawned the hits Suit & Tie and Mirrors. This album despite the lengthy tracks is worth listening. “Mirrors” is the standout track for me in this album.
NATIVE
OneRepublic
Release Date: March 2013
OneRepublic’s Native album lands at the 14th spot this year. It took me a while to appreciate this album but in the end, it turned out to be one of my favorites. “Counting Stars” is the standout track from this album.
THE 1975
The 1975
Release Date: September 2013
British alternative band The 1975 released a self-titled album this year. I love the variety of songs included in the album. This is a perfect album that can accompany you while studying or finishing a task for your job. I’m glad they released a music video for “Girls’ because it is my favorites track from the album.
ENCORE (Deluxe Edition)
Hunter Hayes
Release Date: June 2013
Hunter Hayes’ holds the only country album in the top 15 with Encore. This guy made me appreciate country music more after listening to this album. His team up with Jason Mraz, Everybody Got Somebody But Me is really good. But nothing can beat “I Want Crazy” a strong contender for my favorite country single.
HELLO MY NAME IS...
Bridgit Mendler
Release Date: October 2012
The album that I really jammed to during the first quarter of 2013 landed at #11. Its Bridgit Mendler’s Hello My Name Is… The album showed how flawless Bridgit’s vocals are especially on the track called “All I See Is Gold”. Her voice kinda reminds me of Natasha Bedingfield as well. Commendable album!
Woo hoo, I have heard two of the albums you have listed, "Hello, My Name Is..." and "The 1975". I used to play the first one several times during the first half of 2013.
