He's just so ****ing stupid, absolute trash, a hate-mongering idiot. If I ever meet him, I'd love to beat his ass and call him a ******, so he can experience what kids around the world do every day at the hands of words he thinks he has a right to use. I'd bet he'd throw around the n-word too like it's "no big deal" if he knew he could get away with it. Scum.

sigh
if someone writes a book where something offensive happens, you wouldnt think that author is offensive. he takes on different persona's in his music. he plays characters, and says things to make a point. hes not homophobic.
has he ever hurt/degraded or otherwise acted unkindly toward a gay person in real life as himself? never.
hes worked with gay artists, hes said SEVERAL times he supports gay marriage.
maybe the media should focus more on the gay people everywhere in america who are actually being bullied and are actually having acts of violence committed against them. because the fact that SONG LYRICS which are clearly not representative of the way marshall mathers, the real person, talks in real life, or acts in real life, receive more media attention than the ACTUAL issue at hand makes me sick frankly.
if you dont like it, dont listen to it. but stop making judgements about someones character in REAL LIFE when you dont know the first thing about them.

Strange how he's still utterly fixated on the subject after all these years in the business.

Ok sis. Sure. We all know what you said is bs because that excuse would never be used if Eminem used the the n word. It's clear he has no respect for the gay community, and is afraid of the black community.

Let's not compare Eminem to an author who actually has something to say! His "characters" have always been thinly-veiled excuses for him to spew vitriolic hate speech. You're delusional if you think anything else. What a simple solution to being a bigot--anytime you get called out on anything, you can just say, "oh I was in characer!" LOL
"maybe the media should focus more on the gay people everywhere in america who are actually being bullied and are actually having acts of violence committed against them. "
What don't you understand about his lyrics PERPETUATING these problems?

The atrl homosexuals are SO sensitive
Like chill out, let the man have his own views and opinions. How is it gonna affect you what's coming out of his mouth?

Homophobia is quite a serious issue, don't know why you think otherwise.

He's said plenty times he has no problem with those of the gay persuasion.
This is all his alter~ego, what sells records. Ofc he doesn't think that.
& if his bestie Elton John has no problem with him, then neither should you TBQFH.

****** excuse. He shouldn't be using those words in that context at all no matter what he thinks they mean.

Something else that makes me wonder.
I don't think he is a homophobe, I see this act as laziness primarily -- it's 2013, hip hop has grown beyond that, the shock tactics wore out in 2002, cracks have been showing ever since then and what you're trying to do to stay ~edgy and fresh is aging you more than anything else.
In context it goes beyond 'battle rap' (" til I walk a flock of flames off a plank") anyway, time for some new tricks posiblemente.

Oh come on, we all know you are more pissed about him for giving Rihanna another #1 effortlessly than him using the gay slurs, lol.

I believe that he doesn't mean it as an insult to homosexuals, but equating ***, a slur that means homosexual, as a synonym for "bitch or punk or a-hole" is homophobic in and of itself, whether you mean for it to be or not.
