The Orientation
Welcome prospective witches! The time has come for the first event of the school year. For this orientation, you will be required to fill out a school enrollment application.
This application will require you to include a photo of yourself (choose a photo of a musical artist, model, or celebrity to represent you, as a witch, in this game), your age (the age of your witch character you are playing as), the ONE power or spell that you specialize in (something specific; like a human voodoo doll, telekinesis, or clairvoyance), and a brief background story of your past, including how you discovered your power and other information that you deem appropriate.
Be as creative and unique as possible - do not go for the obvious powers and elements of a witch you would normally see. The more creative you are, the higher your chances of being officially accepted into the school are. Only 13 of you will make it past the cut - the others will be at risk of exposure and may be sent to the stake.
If two people choose the same celebrity (for example, if two people use Gaga as their character), the person who sent their entry in first gets to use that person and the other person will be required to switch to a new celebrity.
Don't fret - after all the dull paperwork, your experiences at the school will get outrageous, outlandish, and very unexpected.
This will be due Monday, October 14th at 8PM EST. You must PM your entry to BOTH Pretty Lady and prayer.

Powers: Conjurer of elements. Cordelia has the power to summon the four elements (Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water). Also has the power to cast spells and create potions.
Cordelia Foxx is the Headmistress of ATRL's Coven: School for Witches and Bitchcraft. She lives by society's rules and believes magic and powers should be suppressed and "hidden in the shadows". She will only use her power if she feels she, or the students, are threatened. Cordelia wasn't always this way, however. Several decades ago when she was just a girl, not knowing the caliber of her power, she summoned one of the worst hurricanes the East coast had ever experienced. Her power was closely tied to her emotions. When her first high school love, Bobby Smith, dumped her, she cried up one Hell of a storm. Fiona, her mother and current Supreme Witch, sent her to school to learn to understand and control her power. After Cordelia graduated from the school, Fiona never picked her up and Cordelia stayed at the school after the current headmistress died. Knowing the demands of the school and the risk of all the witches being exposed, she decided to take over and become the new Headmistress of the school. She implemented a new regime that taught the girls the dangers of magic and the benefits of suppressing it, contrast to her mother's view of embracing it.

Power: All black and white magic. Vast knowledge of all witchcraft.
Fiona Goode is the Head Supreme of ATRL's Coven: School of Witch and Bitchcraft. Fiona strongly abides by her beliefs that young witches should be trained and taught to utilize and strengthen their powers to the best of their ability, learning to fight and fend for themselves by becoming strong, independent witches. "If witches don't fight, we burn", the school's motto that Fiona herself coined, is the philosophy she employs and highlights in every lesson she teaches to the witches of the school. Unlike most witches, Fiona was born with the knowledge that she was the Supreme and her magical ability was beyond any other. Her magic powers came easy to her, as did the control. With that birthed intense passion for witchcraft and the drive to conquer those who cross her. Although her sense of magic and witchcraft is completely impenetrable, she has a paralyzing and deep fear of aging and death. Fiona practices a remedy to counteract the nearly inevitable effects of her fears; by sucking the youth and life from young, robust men. Her past is full of trauma and great triumph, but her greatest blessing and curse was her daughter Cordelia. Cordelia disapproves of everything her mother does and stands for, and this causes great conflict and strife between the two.
Although Cordelia is the Headmistress, witches and school staff alike recognize Fiona as the ultimate ruler and power.
