vs.
so tonight marks the first monday in which two ratings juggernauts, 24 and Heroes, square off. Heroes was getting big ratings in the fall, and was deemed the savior of NBC. that is all until Heroes took a break at the end of November.
during that break the show that previously owned the Monday at 9:00 space 5 months a year, 24, returned with it's usual 2 night 4 hour premiere. many critics are saying it's going to be the best season of 24 yet, and got big ratings per usual.
now with Heroes returning in what they are calling "The Next Chapter", things are going to get ugly. both shows aim for the exact same audience which pisses off a lot of folks , so they are forced to choose a side (unless you got TiVo and record both). it's also not good for either show since both shows will lose ratings since they share so much of the same audience.
of course in Canada, another solution is out there. since Global airs both 24 and Heroes, they will be airing 24 then Heroes back to back. which is awesome news for me, since I love both shows, and that way I don't have to download anything. if only it was like that everywhere else.
so, my question to you all is what side are you on? Team 24, Team Heroes or team TiVo/DVR?
