Ok Go, Tool, The Fray, Red Jumpsuite Apparatus, AFI, Chris Cornell, Raconteurs, and Gym Class Heroes. Yea and a bunch of the rap songs too. Still need to hear QWERTY, tho. So yea the list rocks.

back again, and how are you today? Dexter season finale was one of the best tv episodes I've seen, ever... But that's tv, we're all about music. Let's continue onward, into the wonderful world of \m/.
60-51
#60: Three 6 Mafia - Side 2 Side
-This song made it because Three 6 Mafia picked perfect singles. Stay Fly was ranked far too low on my list last year. The remix of this song was .. I don't actually remember it.
#59: Jay-Z - Show Me What You Got
-This song made it because, back in 2003, Jay-Z retired. Now we all knew it wouldn't last, and sure enough he's back. DMX retired too, but nobody cared.
#58: Ghostface ft. Ne-Yo - Back Like That
-This song made it because I promised in the last update that Ne-Yo would be on again. This proves that I am no liar! Ghostface is the real focus here though, Fish4lyfe. VV
#57: Rise Against - Prayer Of The Refugee
-This song made it because Rise Against have made good song after good song over the last few years. This is no different.
#56: T.I. - Why You Wanna
-This song made it because T.I. is the GOAT. Not really, but he's still damn good. Go and tell a ***** no with an ass so fat, why you wanna go and do that?
#55: Billy Talent - Devil In A Midnight Mass
-This song made it because Billy Talent have been injusticed in the USA for too long. Benji says they are big in Canadia, why not here? River Below made my top 5 back in ... 2004 I believe.
#54: Angels & Airwaves - The War
-This song made it because BLINK IS NOT DEAD ZOMG. Tom was the one who left the band, and thus came A&A. Both A&A and +44 had great debut albums .. let's just hope for a Blink return sometime in the future.
#53: Mastodon - The Wolf Is Loose
-This song made it because RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
#52: Nick Lachey - What's Left Of Me
-This song made it because Nick Lachey's solo effort is the last place anyone would expect to find a quality pop song. Surprise works in a positive way sometimes.
#51: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California
-This song made it because it brought RHCP back from Greatest Hits land. The video is quite creative, I thought for sure they would take home the VMA. RHCP were MTVs 'we're still cool' band this year, so it was quite shocking to see them lose.
and more will come......................... but not now.

That description for "The Wolf Is Loose" is probably the most accurate description for that song i've seen.
Pretty good so far and i'm glad to see i'm not the only one that likes "Devil In A Midnight Mass".

so im back. Anyone else pumped for Rocky Balboa on Wednesday? I sure as hell am. So here we go with the top 50, making the other 40 completely obselete.
#50: Young Dro - Rubberband Banks
-This song made it because mathematically with a pistol I do trigonometry. How many rappers use math terms? There was also that crazy skull in the video, did we ever discover wtf that was all about? Scared the **** out of me, I thought it was my 2-minute death warning.
#49: Rise Against - Ready To Fall
This song made it because .. well I already explained how Rise Against make awesome songs and what not. Wish their canadian tour with Billy Talent comes here, that'd be awesome to go to.
#48: The Raconteurs - Steady As She Goes
-This song made it because the Raconteurs know how to rock out. Jack Black knew this, and tried to share it with the world, but I don't think it really worked. Any news on a White Stripes album next year?
#47: Underoath - Writings On The Wall
-This song made it because I always end up liking Underoath when these year end countdowns come around. I never do for the rest of the year, just in December. It's gotta be the snow, or the flash floods (which are so 5 minutes ago).
#46: 30 Seconds To Mars - The Kill
-This song made it because it's got the stupidest video ever made. Yet, it still held up throughout the year. Seriously, what the **** with up the video? It's like there's two Jared Leto's, but nothing comes of it.
#45: Yung Joc - It's Going Down
-This song made it because the IGD dance is uber fantasical. Tom Cruise did it, true story. There's a video of it on youtube, go watch it. Then MEET ME IN TRAIL, IT'S GOING DOWN.
#44: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Snow (Hey Oh)
-This song made it because it's better than Dani California, and a worthy single choice. I hope they release Hard To Concentrate, that song is bad ass.
#43: The Game - Let's Ride (Strip Club)
-This song made it because it's my ring tone.
#42: Nelly Furtado - Maneater
-This song made it because everyone loves Nelly Furtado now. No one had a bigger year but Daniel Powter! I wonder if that guy will have another hit, I doubt it.
#41: Incubus - Dig
-This song made it because it's not out yet, but it's too brill too keep off. This album was far superior to Crow IMHO. No Megalomaniac, no jesus, no elvis, just balls.
Come back in like 24 hours, I should have another up, if not, keep waiting. ****'s gonna be on fire!

In #48, do you mean Jack Black of Tenacious D or Jack White of White Stripes?
I agree with you that "Hard To Concentrate" is a good single choice. So would "Storm in a Teacup."

So much goodness it's hard to keep up.
Nelly Furtado, RHCP, 30 Seconds to Mars, Raconteurs, Rise Against.
And yep, "Harder to Concentrate" really should be the next single.

as we carry on (!) with the count we hit the top 40. Which is even better than the other 50.
#40: Evanescence - Call Me When You're Sober
-Yeah yeah yeah, I'm a liar.
#39: Justin Timberlake ft. Timbaland - Sexyback
-This song made it because somebody needed to bring Sexy back, and JT stepped up. We never knew we were missing sexy until JT brought it back. A world without sexy is wrong, that is why I praise Mr. Timberlake and Mr. Timbalad.
#38: Taking Back Sunday - Liar (It Takes One To Know One)
-This song made it because it is part of the illustrious TE4. From now one you will see those bands sprinkled across the top 40. Just look at my lastfm to see who I mean.
#37: Thursday - Counting 5-4-3-2-1
-This song made it because Thursday are brill at picking out first singles. So catchy they all are. This album kinda sucked in every way possible, and people need to stop burning cities. But the counting is what gets to you!
#36: Incubus - Anna Molly
-This song made it because Incubus are also quite talented at picking out first singles. This album didn't suck though, and no cities were burned in the process of making this song.
#35: Lupe Fiasco - I Gotcha
-This song made it because ZOMG LUPE I <3 U.
#34: Beck - Nausea
-This song made it because I'm a sea sick sailor on a ship of noise I got my maps are backwards and my instincts poisoned in a truth blown gutter full of wasted years like blown-out speakers ringin in my ears.
#33: (+44) - When Your Heart Stops Beating
-This song made it because Mark and Travis kick as much ass as Tom trying to be Bono. While they clearly took a more Blinkish direction than A&A, it clearly worked all the same.
#32: lostprophets - The New Transmission
-This song made it because it is also part of the TE4, and lp will have more to come. How many? I don't even know tbh (TO BE HONEST).
#31: Wolfmother - Woman
-This song made it for having the best opening riff of the year. Wolfmother are awesome, I would love to see them live. It's gotta be crazy ****.
omg only 30 to go. What will be next?
