'bout time I got to this. I decided from now on i'll only do 5 per part. that way there should be a new part every day.
Part 2
30.Method Man-4:21... The Day After
I remember during the summer when I was at Idaho (save all your jokes), I would always read the Best Buy flyer every sunday to see what new CD's and DVD's were to come out that week. I remember for the one for August 27th I saw albums I knew I was going to get like Bob Dylan's Modern Times and The Roots' Game Theory, but I noticed that Method Man had an album coming out as well. I was quite shocked that this flew below my rader since i'm usually on top of these things. so on that Tuesday I got Dylan and The Roots, and since I had extra money after eating breakfast at IHOP (best breakfast place on earth), and it was only $9.99 I decided to get Meth too.
I really had no expectations for the album, except I noticed that there was lots of Wu Tang fam on there so that made me happy. once I listened to it, I was blown away. after his last album Tical 0: The Prequel being complete dog ****, this album was really ****in good. Meth seemed hungry again, the guest spots were amazing from the usual suspects, and the RZA production was on point per usual. it's a shame Def Jam didn't promote this album AT ALL (Game Theory too, but that is coming), cause it is really a great return to form for the M E T H O D MANNNNNNN.

2.4:20 feat. Streetlife and Carlton Fisk
3.Ya'mean feat. Fat Joe and Styles P
29.The Evens-Get Evens
Ian MacKaye, punk legend and singer for crazy influential D.C based bands like Fugazi, and Minor Threat, is now in a very different band. with Amy Farnia, Ian is now in an indie-rockish band called the Evens. their self titled debut album came out last year, and was very great. now a year later they come out with the even better Get Evens. songs like "Cut From The Cloth" and "Dinner With The President" show Ian and Amy really know how to make amazing music together.
Best Songs
1.Cut From The Cloth
2.Dinner With The President
3.Everybody Knows
28.Greg Graffin-Cold As The Clay
Greg Graffin is best known as lead singer of punk legends Bad Religion. This album however, has nothing even close to punk on it. it's mainly a folk/alt-countryish album that is really amazing. you don't realize when you listen to Bad Religion, but his voice works really well for the Folk/Alt-rock genre. If you are a fan of Bad Religion and not closed minded, you need to check this album out
Best Songs
1.Don't Be Afraid To Run
2.Cold As The Clay
3.Talk About Suffering with Jolie Holland
27.Mastodon-Blood Mountain
i'm not a fan of much new metal. I only really like metal from the 80's and early 90's. so when this album came out I was like "whoa, this ****in kicks ass". the music just ****in kicks your ass through the entire album. so WOO to Mastodon for making a really awesome metal album.

26.Lily Allen-Alright Still
she caught me majorly by surprise in May of this year. she's different then most female artists around today, and has very witty lyrics. the songs are also insanely catchy with great beats too. If you are one of the few people who hasn't heard her yet, then get on it!!!
