Have you experienced bullying?
No, but I think we've all experienced the occasional name-calling by our peers and such. I kind of had a bit of a 'Mean Girls' experience in a way though, except I wasn't like Cady or Regina, haha.

Have you ever bullied someone?
Thankfully, no! But, 1 time I did say something about a girl who was my only real friend at the time, I just couldn't see it. I feel bad but, I learned from my mistake.

What are your tips for a bullied person?
I honestly don't know because there are multiple situations and not everything will work. The most you can do without going too far is telling a parent or someone who works at your school. I don't really believe violence is the answer nor would I recommend it but, giving someone a bit of a slap or punch has worked for some people. But you don't want to have to resort to that. Another option is to just try giving that person a piece of your mind and standing up for yourself.

As far as cyberbullying goes, I'd say just stay off the internet. It's our right to go online freely and update our FB and Twitter or whatever you use without being teased or judged but some people could care less and abuse that power and try to be rude to others. I say block those people and don't give them access to those things.

I tried everything I could to get them to stop, ignoring, facing them, deliver comebacks. Never worked. The names and taunts still ring inside my head from time to time. Bullies are vile insecure creatures who need help. But I'm not one to be bullied without fighting/saying something back.

I was bullied badly my whole life at school and I've had depression since I was 11 because of it. They used to call me fat and I remember one time I got a juice box thrown at my head, someone put their chewing gum in my hair and our school was right by a lake and one time some of them took some of the baby frogs from near the lake and put them in my hair too. I was bullied so bad for being 'fat and ugly' that I became anorexic when I was 14 and started self harming and even tried to kill myself.

It's only just started to get better (I'm 19 now) and the one thing that makes me feel better is listening to Legend X and Beyoncé songs, that's what I do whenever I'm feeling down now because they make me feel like I'm powerful and that I can do anything.

That's the whole point of this thread. No one will laugh at you. Devotion is not a laughing matter. It's a desirable quality that is hard to find these days. Good for you

The first thread I made on atrl was all about stopping the hate on this site. It was unsuccessful, to say the least, I hope this thread is much more successful. I agree though, that the negativity in pop girl stan wars is so tired and vapid at this point. We need more threads like this on atrl.

And about this bullying topic, I personally did a decent job of avoiding it in the terrible educational system our country has to offer. And now that I am out of high school, and have moved on from the childish and immature fools, that think they run that place, I have become so much more confident and happy with myself. Anyone that is currently experiencing bullying right now, it won't continue forever, and it gets so much better...
