You've really done your research. However, these remixes were released after the success of Single Ladies the non-single. So yes, these remixes I'm sure helped it in the UK but it had already peaked before their release.
Single Ladies was released in October 2008 and smashed in November 2008 in the UK before it was a B-side release with If I Were a Boy. Stop embarassing yourself and move on.
But Irreplaceable sold awfully in comparison to it being seen as one of her signature songs.
And wasn't Deja Vu repressed like forever and peaked prematurely in sales because of it?
But do you mean it sold awfully in the UK compared to it being a signature song in the US, or is it a signature song in the UK too? If so, that's just further proof that sales and charts don't always equal impact.
Telephone has sold 680k so I guess IIWAB and SL are above 700k.
What? SL was released WW, the thing is it wasn't released at the same time with IIWAB (like in the US) but after it a second single.
Oh GOD , it smashed worldwide in November 2008 BEFORE it was an official B-side single to IIWAB, until then it was a US only single. It ALREADY smashed and peaked within the top 10 of worldwide charts along with IIWAB. Of course they would finally release it worldwide when it was DEMANDED by the GP.
Am I speaking in another language that yall can't understand?
