I don't think that underrated. I mean, she's having her first stadium tour with her SEVENTH ALBUM. Gaga had her first stadium show with The Monster Ball, Taylor and Beyoncé are selling out stadiums with only 4 albums released too.

When it comes to album and singles sales, the same thing, she has huge numbers because she has 7 albums. While Beyoncé's, Taylor's and Gaga's average album sales in the US is around 3-4 million, Rihanna's average is around 1.3-1.5 million. Gaga, Katy, Adele and Ke$ha have at least one 6 million single with only 2-3 albums released, Rihanna doesnt and she has 7 albums.

None of those things sounds like an impressive kind of success for me.

Rihanna is underrated here?

The only reason people clock her in some threads is because it's true.

No one is taking away her success with singles and being really trendy and global. The fact you have to resort to "oh they're not complete stans of Rihanna because they drag her for her forgettable and/or weak performances and lack of any lasting legacy beyond releasing an annual singles collection, so they must be jealous of her success and beauty lolz" is beyond pathetic.

Considering Rihanna's career is doing nothing but rising 7 albums in, while the others you mentioned are going down a slippery slope, that is a massive success for me.

Same was said about Rihanna when Rated R happened and look where she is. Besides, Talk That Talk and Unapologetic didn't topped GGGB or Loud sales, so if you consider her career is rising just because of her tour's success then Beyoncé's and Gaga's carreers are also rising.

U say albums to make it sound like she's been out for 15 years.....rihannna has been out for 8 years, and is selling out stadiums....very rare in todays music...I.e britney,xTina,pink,justin timberlake

Is beyonce even selling out stadiums? If she is, she should .... She's been out since 1998

Gagas been out for 5 years and had great success, but honestly she was already like 22 when she debuted and already knew wht type of artist she wanted to be and that's what sold her, she knew who she was from the start... Rih didn't figure out really to her 3rd or 4th album

And Taylor.....country sells better overall anyway, but she appeals too children not teens really and def not adults so her audience is different

The point is ypu are trying to make little rihs huge success because of the way she did it or the way it happened but overall it's still amazing success... she is 25 selling out stadiums.....setting records as the youngest ever so u. Fail


Also diana Ross, prince,Elton John,aretha Franklin and most artist from the 60s nd 70s minus prince released albums every year so rihanna is really just following tradition

I asked this girl I work with why she didn't like rihanna and she said she didn't like her because "she's a ho". I obviously disagree, but i guess I know where's she coming from. When s.o.s came out I started liking her but then unfaithful came out and I absolutely despised her. So i guess she has this sort of polarizing effect. Just when people begin to like her she takes 2 steps back.

Its not "her" movie, she is barely publicized as even being in it. She had a split second cameo in a youtube trailer but other than that not much is said, she isn't even listed in the brief short list of characters when you google "this is the end".
