I agree, minus DIL2. It's a shame though since RTA is one Beyonce's best tracks along with "Yes" & "Baby Boy", IMO. It's not something that will work on Pop radio.
But aside from the fact that it's not pop-friendly, I just think this backlash is impossible to avoid. People had too much of her during the DIL era. I can't stress the overratedness enough. Five Grammys, inflating of sales & overall success, being shoved down our throats, etc. I feel bad for her though.

I completely agree with the bolded part. With RTA and its video out there seems to be two types of crowds. The "hell no, strike two Beyonce" and the "omg, it's so different I love it" crowd. Even haters/non-fans of Beyonce are shocked with the past two videos.
Beyonce is one hell of a busy woman and I respect her for that. If she is not recording albums then she is juggling endorsements/commercials/movies/keeping Jay-Z away from Rihanna/etc. Personally, I hope she gets enough rest cause Mariah already suffered from a breakdown and I would hate to hear about another one.
Overexposed and overrated. I don't feel bad for her. She's a successful woman with loyal fans. Hell, Dreamgirls already have rave reviews and possible Oscar nods. The backlash is nothing but another obstacle for her to overcome and I'm sure that she'll win.
