Opening Act

It will be Loreen and “Euphoria” who will open the first semi final, accompanied by a children’s choir, similar to the act in Melodifestivalen, but bigger and better! The opening act will describe a musical journey. Just like the Olympic-Games fire gets to the host country, there will be an insert bringing “Euphoria” from Baku to Malmo. The journey will feature countries in Europe adopting “Euphoria” in their own way. When the song arrives in Malmo, the slogan for this year’s contest “We Are One” will appear. The purpose of the act is to bring Europe

About Final:

Loreen will perform “We Got the Power” at Eurovision Final her new single...

Loreen’s management team have just confirmed that “We Got the Power” is the new single from our reigning Eurovision champion and it is also the song that she will perform at the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

hmm odds are not relevant at all.

Remember in 2011 they said France will win and was #1 favorite by ALL odds and they did not even enter top 10 in Grand Final lol

Youtube disagree Cascada has 3 MILL views and big fanbase in Europe. She can totally win.

To be honest, Denmark is my favorite song but I was not impressed by her vocals in the rehearsals. Hopefully she was holding back a lot, but many other contestants sounded leaps and bounds better than her.

Slovenia-decent song and cool dancers.

Serbia-Do not like the new arrangement of their song and costumes. Major downgrade from how the song was presented in their national selection.

Croatia-Boring.

Montenegro-Powerful female singer. Not too fond of their staging, but people i know who casually follow eurovision in America really enjoy this song.

Fyrom-Good male singer, but I need to hear the female singer properly on stage. In rehearsals it sounded a mess. Song is ok, sounds too disjointed to be great though.

I'm not sure if it's because of the LQ cameras (it might look better on screen), but I think they've really overdone Denmark's performance with all the special effects and stuff. It also seems like she rarely moves which is boring. I'll wait until tonight for proper judgement though.

I think Ukraine have got the staging perfect. Could do without the giant man but other than that they've really hit the mark.

I still think people are underestimating Germany. That sound is really popular in Europe (and the world) right now, and there's no other entry like it. Plus Cascada is a recognisable name. I think it could easily come top 5.

Ukraine representative is also not moving at all on the stage. Were is the problem ?
