'Maneater' would not have gone #1. Don't get me wrong I've listened to the song over 100 times in one day so I'm crazed for it, but I don't think the US would've taken it radio-friendly like 'Promiscuous'.
Now I chose 4 - 6 weeks because this song is the ****!
i love it but i really cant picture it at @ #1 but def a top 5 or 10 hit
and i prefer it too this average Too little Too late i really dont see what ppl see in this song
meh, it's much better than any of the songs out right now IMO, like "Deja Vu" and such.
I think that the maneater remix would have had a lot of potential. But I don't think that everyone would've liked it like Promiscuous. I like Furtado but she might not have another #1 w/ Loose. I still think that Runaway would've been huge.
Maneater's the best track on the album... I don't know if it would flop or not.
Say it Right's a great song in the context of the album, but it kind of sits there and kinda stays "chill" to the end. I wish there was a chorus or two more.
"Say It Right" should go to #1 and stay there for the rest of the year, because lord knows nothing will come along that could top just how good that song is. Well, maybe "Maneater"...
Being realistic, I definitely see it going top 5 and I don't see how it couldn't go #1 if "Promiscuous" did. I chose "2-3 weeks" but I REALLY wish it would get more.
I don't think it'll reach number 1. If it's lucky it will crack the top 10. The song is great, but you guys know the top 10 is usually reserved for hip/hop, R&B or songs that feature rappers.
There's no way she''ll be able to overcome the airplay and sales domination of Irreplaceable. Even if SIR is able to get to #1 in sales, Beyonce's airplay will be WAY too high in order for SIR to ever overcome Irreplaceable.
