Even if everybody in the whole world does it, it is still abuse. My parents used to hit me with a 5 foot wooden stick when I was 4-10 when I did something bad. Even that is wrong and they never made me scream like that. The sad thing about it is that they'll assume that this is what parenting is supposed to be and do the same to their kids.

Yes they deserved it. Most father's would do the same thing if they caught their daughter doing what they were doing. That's the problem right there, parents don't know how to discipline their kids.

I'm reading the comments section and they're all pretty much saying that the father was right and that girls got what they deserved and that this will hopefully teach them not to "act like hoes" (quoting a particular comment) in the real world - the consequences for such could be far worse.

Girl please...if you find getting a whoopin with a cord is abuse then your out of it...I'm not saying that the cord was the best thing to use but teenagers these days need they ass beat...When I was younger I got my ass handed too me by my father...he whooped me with a big belt that had BOSS imprinted on it and till this day I will never disrespect him and I'm going on 22 years old....

Are recordings of kids getting beatings a thing now? Anyway it's abuse, but I've always thought hitting your child with a cable cord was a bit much
