It's probably the label, they released Ten in three different ways which is basically the three album contract.

I think it was probably Sarah & Nicola who wanted to split. It seems Sarah doesn't want the pressure of a celebrity lifestyle anymore & Nicola just seemed very unenthusiastic about everything except the tour
I blame Cheryl for making Nicola and Kimberley's minds.

But doesn't Sarah have a movie and an album coming out this summer?
I'd love to blame Cheryl but I've put my money on Nicola wanting to end it since the CiN performance.

I think most have just moved on in their lives to be honest, Cheryl has her solo career, Nicola has her make up and probably wants to do another solo album, Sarah has said she is releasing a solo album later this year I think, Kimberly probably wants to do more West End.
I just think for most of them GA feels like the past and not their future, but I do feel sad for Nadine, though she didn't care about GA that much in the final year or so before the break and even said some things publicly during the break too that made her look like she isn't interested in the band anymore.
Cheryl is the only one who I think would want the band to come to an end. I had suspicions that she didn't tell the other girls what she was putting at the end of the book - Nicole and obviously Nadine didn't want it, and I can't see Sarah or Kim wanting a split either.
Nicola didn't want the break, I don't see why everyone thinks its her.

I don't think it was just Cheryl but I also think if Cheryl wasn't more successful album/singles-wise than GA it would be a different story. But I mean at this point its just guessing.
At the end of the day, if any of the other girls had had a super successful solo career like Cheryl they would probably have no desire to continue with the group when they can achieve so much more as a solo artist, not just in terms of success, but on a creative basis too. It's not really fair to blame somebody, this was inevitable.
