Only thing I was trying to do was to address the uneven thread title. But Mr Perkins acknowledged that he was stanning, so it's all good

let's stop all this delusion. Katy is a singles artist and Pink is an albums artist, it's a truth universally acknowledged. Katy has barely made it over 5 million with 6 #1 singles. Pink regularly makes it to 7 million albums sold with no #1 singles.

Pink - an albums artist?!
Heres a universally acknowledged truth: In the USA, Pink is NOT an established albums artist. The only album of hers to go beyond 2x Platinum is M!ss.
Did you even read the OP?

This is a thread about single sales in the USA. So whatever Pink does in another country is irrelevant to how sales are impacted in the USA.
Again, Katy isn't the biggest album seller either, but Funhouse and her debut are on par with each other, but TD has outsold TTAL by a good number .
So if you're going to still try to call Pink an "albums artist" here, then Katy is also one.
When it comes to singles though, there is no debate. Katy is far ahead of Pink. At the end of the day, comparing both their previous albums singles, Katy definitely comes out on top overall

Honey, I love Katy Perry so much, but let's be realistic. It sold 5,7 according to mediatraffic. She's probably at 6-7 million right now at best.

Well Mediatraffic is an amateur site. I would think her label would be more reliable than those kinds of people.
