Due to the nature of live coast-to-coast programming the ratings for CBS (Super Bowl) are approximate non-time zone adjusted time period ratings and are basically worthless and should be ignored.
I don't get why Madonna's fans are so perched on this? It just looks petty on their side, Beyonce did a great job and is getting praise left and right for it. If you're really looking for anything to try to knock her down it just looks pathetic on your side.
Madonna's performance was long over-due and she did fantastic, no one is denying that, no one's coming for Madonna's "wig" or anything.
Halftime Show Overnights Up Slightly: The Super Bowl XLVII halftime show, featuring the singer Beyoncé Knowles, earned a 48.2 overnight rating on CBS Sunday night — up a tick from last year’s performance by Madonna on NBC (48.1), and up 2% from the 2011 performance by the Black Eyed Peas (47.4). While the overnight for the halftime show has topped the overall game average, it was not the peak half-hour of the telecast. (Overnight from Sports Business Daily)
The beyhive was on twitter being annoying as ever shading Madonna that an old bitch like her would never top Bey's ratings.
Goodbyeeee where are they now? They reported the thread lmao.
The sadness

Madonna been doing it longer BUT i'm so proud of Beyonce. Give credit when do!!!!
This year's Super Bowl drew a 48.1 overnight rating, the highest ever for a Super Bowl, topping the previous overnight record of 47.9 for the 2011 Super Bowl between Green Bay and Pittsburgh.
The broadcast's peak rating of 52.9 came in the final 15 minutes of the game. And while it is not surprising that a close game would have a strong rating at the end, it is likely that the blackout early in the second half pushed the rating to record levels.
The overnight rating measures percentage of households watching the Super Bowl in the top 56 urban markets. Last year's Super Bowl had an overnight rating of 47.8.

This pretty much guarantees Beyonce didn't beat Madonna.
