I'm not advocating for the Beyonce hate. I love her, she's amazing and she's a phenomenal singer/vocalist, and I'm sure she has a great reason for lip-syncing or whatever she did (like not rehearsing with the band enough). She probably would've slayed the performance just as hard without the pre-recorded track. Whether or not, meh. Her vocals still were great. The performance was great. I quite enjoyed it.
I do, however, find it interesting that when a drop of controversy hits Beyonce, that the Beyhive's less level-headed stans (which we've found it is a lot of them) lose their **** and compile a bibliography of people shading Bey. Try being a Rihanna stan during the Rated R, Loud, and TTT first-week sales. Try being a Katy Kat after a performance. Try being a Gaga stan after a music video's released and the world tries to find something wrong with it.
I mean damn, Beyhive can talk mad **** but when the tables turn slightly, they bitch for eternity.
I feel Beyoncé felt a little intimidated to sing the anthem live, good singers as Kat De Luna or Steven Tyler didn't make such a good job and I think it's understandable she played it safe and recorded a strong pre-recorded vocal.
We know she can sing, she just didn't wanna risk it this time.

It's a bit disappointing because I'm very anti-lip synching, but I still think she is live in every other performance. She was certainly capable of singing this live so I don't know why she wouldn't just sing it.
Compared to other stars who lip-sync on a regular basis, she's still a live performance queen.
But anyways, while ya'll was sitting up here getting life Beyonce unfazed was on instagram liking pictures and rehearsing for the superbowl, somewhere most of your faves will never be.

Yeah reminds me of taylor fans who are just getting used to taylor being a bigger star.
Anyway, I don't care either way. Beyonce is better than that and is more than capable without it so I don't get what happened and why she did it. I personally find Beyonce to be one of the most respectable people in the industry in that shes both very talented and her life isnt a mess.

She is a great singer, I agree.
Many news outlets reported that she probably felt intimidated having to follow Kelly's amazing live performance. It could also be the pressure of having to live up to Kelly's flawless, universally praised live Super Bowl anthem from last year as well. It makes sense.

You must be new to this, but in order to understand the beyhive's defensiveness you have to go back to the B- Day era when every little thing she did was twisted. We were literally in the trenches. TBH, the hate today is nothing compared to back then and what you all complain about for your faves. Especially if you were a DC/Beyonce fan in the early 2000s.
My fave gets shaded in regards to her domestic abuse case. I dunno how the hell you're gonna tell me my fave doesn't get that much shade. Gaga and Justin get made fun of almost constantly as if they're from the opposite gender. Britney Spears and Michael Jackson had iconic career downfalls; Britney in many ways is still paying from that. Yes, **** gets twisted around. Oh well. Beyonce, in no way, has been shaded at the level these individuals have. I duncurr what you say.

I was actually only shading one. Two of them are just simply from experience.
