You know i also thought the same the first time i heard a c-pop song but ever since i got into elva and jolan's the great artist it's not that weird to hear now, it takes time tho.

I personally love the sound of the language now
I think it's all the "sh/xi" sounds that really throw me off. Like I can bop but I only really pay attention to the melodies and not the language.

That Elva girl is the first time I could tolerate any song in Mandarin. When I tried listening to some other stuff it just gave me a headache. But I'll keep trying.
