At this point, it's not like she's gonna have another big album anyway, 4th quarter or not. I don't see how it matters; a hit song will do just as well in spring/summer as it will during the holidays. I'm sure she'll sell better around the holidays, as everyone does, but I doubt it's gonna make that much of a difference now.

She should so what Katy did with Teenage Dream and release a lead single to rule the summer, release the album at the end of summer (August) along with the second single and ride out a long successful era in that respect.
