Even if it's Britney, at least she had a era that can be considered overrated unlike other certain artists.

That's not a good thing at all when you basically sell all these albums and considered so great. And ppl look back on you as a fad. Say whatever you want about christina but in her prime she was a hell of a performer. She had soul, reinvented herself, explored different genres in her work, and sung about personal trials and tribulations. As well as make anthems (beautiful & fighter) that were so powerful that it encouraged and touched so many lives, and let's not forget how her influence on today's up and coming performers. Christina is that chick, sure she isn't as great today but you can't take anything I said above away from her like you can with brit.

Britney did all of those except about singing about personal things. She's a very private person (before the meltdown) and the most personal song she ever made was Everytime. Britney is always exploring new genres. I don't know how but people love discrediting Britney. She's been to bubble gum pop to pop rock to urban pop to electro pop. She is always sticking with her roots while experimenting with other genres. She doesn't give an all out Rock or R&B or Urban track yet she makes pop songs that have influences.

What's great here is her reinvention is done by her. She's the boss of herself during her peak.

What. Are you kidding me? During her peak she was the bomb. Nobody can stop her on the stage. She may not have the voice that Xtina has but she quadruples Xtina's stage presence. Yes Britney is the boss during her peak. If her management wants it and she disagrees, it'll be changed in one snap.

LOL, and I am serious have you seen a britney spears performance like I said in my previous posts it's all just lipsynching/production. If you strip that all away her performances would be boring, and she is not that great of a dancer PERIOD. Never has never will, she was always stiff as all hell and none of her routines were never that hard or even great. You need to let that nostalgia go, I do agree that brit had control and was creative. But a boss, which in my mind is talent intertwined in there as well that's something I have to say no to.

I disagree atleast xtina's got a voice when toned down is somewhat pleasent to the ears. Who said talent was just vocally, and if you read my other posts I did say britney had some form of talent around the In The Zone era. IDK why your even smirking when you think Britney was ever the bomb on stage, the girl's overrated and most of her so called iconic performances are boring.
