Putting the fact that the song is horrendous and not the slightest bit country aside, a song like this should've had no #1 at all. The sales were good, but it had little to no country airplay and crashed and burned almost immediately.
The fact that this song passed "Once A Day," which is a country classic, is beyond ridic.
Can she try this again with a country song? No matter how much she riles me up I still love "Safe & Sound" and would love to see her try doing something like that for a whole album.
Too bad most reputable sources still use Country Airplay as the official chart. This song completely bombed of country radio, It really should of never reached #1.
