I understand the concept of tipping and I usually tip more than I'm supposed to (especially if they're cute and nice to me and if they flirt and makes me feel sexy

). But I think the bigger question is why do they make less than minimum wage in the first place? Why isn't it illegal and why are we expected to pay extra money on top of the regular cost? Why is the restaurant not distributing the cost of the meal fairly among the servers and where is all that money going? We tip because it's common courtesy, but the bigger issue is that the restaurants should be paying the servers more to begin with.
