This. Just because she wasn't malicious doesn't mean she wasn't ignorant. It's 2012, no one in the mainstream public eye is overtly bigoted, but that doesn't mean what she said was any less foolish.

First of all there is nothing wrong with being effeminate or flamboyant, and using that as an excuse to justify some pop tart's ignorant generalizations is just sad. It's that same sort of backwards, assimilationist ideologies that would rather all gay men act like "straight/real/DL men" so they can be accepted by a close-minded society that has rejected or ignored them for generations.
