The only answer is that there IS no one correct answer.
There is no real concrete definition of a continent that gives us one answer. It's up to regional interpretation.
It's debatable.
Some places teach that there is up to 7 continents, while others teach that there are 4.
This is due to the fact that some consider North and South America as one continent (America); they may join Africa, Europe, and Asia together, or just two of them.
