..... IMO she releases one album and while she is promoting it her label is already preparing her next album, when she finishes the promotion her label calls and say: "Your next album is ready go to the studio and record it, we are going to release it on November".

"Diamonds" producer hasn't even met Rihanna ....

Lol @ people thinking Rihanna has any command over her career as if she's selling Adele numbers and can demand her label put millions upfront every year for writing camps, big-budget videos, blatant payola, etc. Of course she's profitable for them and she's idolized Madonna's legacy to an unhealthy point so I can see why some of you think this is her doing, but Def Jam wouldn't go forward with these albums if they didn't have complete oversight of the entire process and final say on everything.

Well, the main producer of the song is StarGate... Benny Blanco co-produced, but we're all aware that Rihanna has definitely met StarGate.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's both of their decisions.

Yes she will and automatically add an average 3.5M album sales, and 10-15M singles to her resume with each release. PLUS more songs to include into her GH, and not to mention digging a a hole for your faves, a feet under with every release.

isnt her collaboration with Harris was a breakthrough that all songs with same formula followed

I don't know why you mention my fave .. we are not talking about her in this thread .... just in case my fave releases her albums when she wants, she takes breaks when she wants , and she prepares her albums when she wants

I mean Rihanna doesn't even meet her producers , I think she will stop releasing an album per year when her label decides it and allows it.

and to be honest I don't think she is as "Badass" and "Strong woman" as you try to say .... If she was that "Badass" she would've never allowed being abused by a man.

what i reckon is that, she releasing this album, because she wants go on a world tour, as she previously didn't tour for TTT and also to give more new music to fans, in support of Diamonds tour. so she may have decided that. Because remember how how loud was going to get re-released. But then she was done with that album and didn't want to add any other concept and then she decided go with TTT era. She may have wanted to release another studio album instead with a brand new era instead of re-releasing TTT

In my opinion next year she definitely going to have a break after shes done with the tour.

yall act as if she is the first artist ever to release an album every year...britney.prince,& like every r&b artist like aretha,patti,diana did it too. dosent mean they are puppets it means they enjoy their jobs and want to keep releasing albums cuz what else would they be doing if they didnt....just sittin, ur suppose to work while ur young.rihs only 24, she dosent need 4 year brreaks every album. now i wouldnt mind her takin a break but yall act is if she cant make her own decisions.

honestly if the label was forcing her to release albums every year and she said i dont want to anymore, what would they do? they are not gonna drop her cuz why would they one of the best selling artist in the world right now. like who sellin better than rih ( maybe gaga and adele & dats it). so im pretty sure she has the ability to make her own decisions. because no label will drop her if she says "im not recording an album, im going home." like look how wild and crazy and honest she is, she does whatever the **** she wants. she releases albums because SHE WANTS TO.
