The success of Toxic alone ****s all over BTW

Everytime and MATM were HUGE WW. The reason for the low peaks in US was because of the radio ban. And I'm not shading Gaga at all. I'm a huge fan and BTW was extremely succesful.

Judging by the receipts in this thread, it really doesn't look like one had THAT much over the other. I think people seriously underestimate the BTW era. It wasn't huge and it looks tiny in comparison to TF(M) but number are numbers, and they are still good

Well, Britney's two most memorable hits were from the ITZ era, none of Gaga's are from BTW. Other than that Britney's receipts were a little better than BTW's.

Well, we're comparing a half era (cut prematurely due to knee injury) after a radio ban to one of the most hyped albums in recent years so it's hard to put a context on it .

To come to think of it, they are almost equal in terms of success. Gaga has the tour whereas Britney has the album sales. The only thing that makes the In The Zone era more superior is Toxic.
