Its only competition is Call Me Maybe, with the rest of the songs already falling.
And obviously I was exaggerating a bit, but it is true that the public is more here for her dance music than ballads. Every TD song went #1 except TOTGA and WA.
just admit that ur fave will never get a ballad in the top 3.

Well the she's been on the radio constantly for over two years. What do you expect? Stop acting like a #2 song is bad.
That it has incredible longevity. I still hear that song on the radio.
WHO is acting like a #2 song is bad? sure as hell isn't me.
I'm stating the simple FACT that the public prefers her upbeat songs, that's why her upbeat TD singles all went #1
Also Part Of Me went and debuted at #1 soo the 2 year argument doesn't really work.
My fave prefers working with real producers
Her upbeat songs were earlier in the era! If Wide Awake was earlier in the era like the first 5 then it would have easily went #1. The ONLY reason POM went #1 was because it was new and the Grammy performance. If she did Wide Awake first then POM, Wide Awake would have had multiple weeks at #1 and POM wouldn't have any.
What I don't understand about her singles is that you never see anyone in real life LOVING them.
She's good at secretly being universally appealing. No one I know stans for Wide Awake.
She just needs to accept the fact that she aint getting another #1. TOTGA didn't go #1 even with a remix, so it's clear that the public is only here for her upbeat music
