I felt like that was the performance that really opened the eyes of the GP to her music. That was when she was rising towards her peak. It was definitely memorable to a degree but the whole Kanye and Taylor incident overshadowed the amazing performance.

It's probably my favourite VMA performance . the vocals were very messy and edited but the performance over all made up for it .

Yes. It's arguably one of her most important moments in her career. The MTV stage is seen by millions around the world and that performance launced Gaga's career. I enjoyed the performance and it was definitely one of the highlights of the night.
