No. Interscope is bad for urban artists now. It's even worse than the label he's on now.
Def Jam and Young Money are better for URBAN artists. Like Rihanna is allowed to release urban songs like Rude Boy, What's My Name?, etc. and they're still massive pop hits, and that's because she's signed to a label that prioritizes that kind of music.
Interscope used to be a predominantly urban label too, but it became a pop label in 2008, so Chris should stay away from that label now.
