I am fine because if it's the HUGE and faithful rock following of Linkin Park beating Maroon 5 I can deal (their album is very good).
Still happy about M5 figures (I am actually very proud about that, the race was wa, way tighter than I expected to, and I am glad Overexposed will likely keep selling enough to be platinum at least

).
However, I will forever blame the awful support M5 have gotten from flop Interscope: if you look at iTunes USA spaces right now in the front page, look how only Living Things still has a reminder under the "Music section" - and they had it for three weeks in a row something up there - while Overexposed, which is the best digital seller by far (still) disappears unless you hit "recent hits" (obviously, being the most recent best seller).
Interscope is the sole responsible of this chart demise (which isn't a demise, but you get me

).
LP's label strategy instead was simply perfect.
WhenM5 will leave the label, they won't miss a thing, honestly

.
All that said, ongrats to Linkin Park
