Yes chart is quite slow there is 4 songs that are in chart for longer than 3 months:
Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe - 14 weeks
Maroon 5 Featuring Wiz Khalifa - Payphone - 11 weeks
Gotye Featuring Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know - 18 weeks
Katy Perry - Wide Awake - 4 weeks
Rihanna - Where Have You Been - 5 weeks
Ellie Goulding - Lights - 2 weeks
fun. Featuring Janelle Monae - We Are Young - 21 weeks
Nicki Minaj - Starships - 20 weeks
David Guetta Featuring Sia - Titanium - 1 week
Usher - Scream - 2 weeks
Left Top 10 this week
One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful - 13 weeks
Left Top 10 last week
Flo Rida Featuring Sia - Wild Ones - 14 weeks
Justin Bieber - Boyfriend - 12 weeks
Well, don't Billboard make songs ineligible to chart after they've spent a certain number of weeks in the chart, and dropped out of the top 50?
They should maybe do a variation of that rule to somehow speed up the chart. Like maybe disqualify ALL songs after spending, say, 10 weeks in the chart.
Doing it this way, for example, would mean that Carly, Maroon 5, Gotye, etc. are out of the chart, and the top would go:
1. Katy Perry - Wide Awake
2. Rihanna - Where Have You Been
3. Ellie Goulding - Lights
4. David Guetta ft. Sia - Titanium
5. Usher - Scream
And so on. I think that would be better.
Also, worthy of note, this is the first time since streaming was included at the #1 on streaming wasn't also the #1 on the Hot 100!!
