Marketing does wonders but there's something else going on here.

But not all of the fans from a country can travel to see her if she's playing in a city far away. Obviously a lot of the people showing up to her shows are dedicated fans, but I would say that most of them are people from the general public who want to see her. She's not as dead to the people as some seem to think.

Obviously I'm not saying 100% of her touring audience is going to be comprised of die-hards, but I would say the fact that she has such a devoted core fanbase plays a large factor in why her tour has still been successful despite diminishing record sales returns since her peak.

Of course people are aware of her tour because of this money, but awareness is not enough to make people go see the touring artist.
