It's still a good indicator, if it's not the most popular, imagine how good is the album doing in the relevant charts!

But, seriously, can your fave top the iTunes chart with a one-year-old album charting with another version in the top5 and place an almost two-and-a-half-year-old album in the top3 simply by touring the country? In two different continents?

Yeah, unfortunately iTunes is really irrelevant in japan. You can get on the itunes top 200 without even selling 100 singles.
