Regardless of the 'context,' Madonna knows very well what she is doing. She's done it in two centuries (20th & 21st) and she is a master at this. Is it disrespectful? Well, Madonna has carefully disguised it with 'a message' so that it appears not to be. I am not offended, but I can see why people could easily be. Still, I wouldn't jump down her throat and call her disrespectful. I'd call her Madonna, and you can take that to mean whatever you'd like
