Why exactly is that? Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone, but within her track record of the past couple of years, there is nothing at all that strikes me as Christian.
I'm not really sure. Maybe because, growing up, I knew a greater percentage of Christians who smoked weed than atheists, and it sort of felt like it was drawing some type of negative parallel between all three of those things.
No. Darwin would definitely agree. The quote is along the lines of evolution actually.
I puzzled over that comment for quite awhile, too. Maybe he means it in the sense that Darwin wouldn't say that stars would choose to die for you, and it should be "we are here because stars died"?

I think the speaker was just being poetic about the idea of stars "dying," using the thought of stars exploding as a figure of speech.

This theory is far more complex than Darwin's. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't go that far. But this is not about him. So, let me just call this a day before things get ugly.
Well people say "Jesus died so we could live" so he could have just have been playing off on that quote. Like I said, you can see the quote in a few different ways. I'm glad she just posted it and didn't respond to anyone about it after.
