I've noticed that on ATRL with Dr. Luke. Some people seem to think everything with his name attached to it is generic.
Which is stupid imo. Yes, some songs like Last Friday Night, Dynamite, Good Feeling are generic, but songs like Strange Clouds, You Da One, That's All She Wrote, E.T., etc. most certainly aren't generic.
RedOne and David Guetta are the most generic producers out there from the past few years imo.

Beyonce did do some generic songs in her 2008-2010 era, such as Sweet Dreams, Telephone and Radio, but there's not much on 4 that I can say is generic. I know a lot of people find the songs boring, but I can't say they're generic, because they sound quite different to what all the other pop girls are doing.
