I love Ciara with all my heart, and you know this, but the world has forgotten who she is. With people constantly making jokes about her, and that other girl running around the planet constantly making sure people know she is "in the room", the slot for a young ethnic girl has been filled. It's time Ciara becomes Ciara again, and make herself known in Europe (especially) and the rest of the world. All she needs is the right promotion and opportunities, because her performance skill set is far above everyone in her age bracket.

• A #1 debut with at least 100k or above.
• A total of anywhere near 1 million or above in the US.
• A Top 10 single.
• A VMA performance.

I mean, the only one's who are really making fun of her are people who are heavy on the Internet and follow blogs; and those aren't the only people that buy albums. Though I do feel she did a disappearing act on the general public, I don't think they've completely forgotten who she is.

The problem is you see, Ciara was never that force to begin with. She filled a void in 2004 that was open and required a a female and she was right in line with what was hot. We truly began to see how capable and how much star power she had once 2006 came and the music industry was gearing forward -- where either you spearheaded the movement, keeping up or just riding the wheels. We saw it (Get up, Promise -- GOOD stuff). Then 2007 happened and the lane she was in shifted and became almost obsolete. We saw no groundbreaking material released or no push. The following evens of 2008, 2009.... well we saw the charts. 2010 was, however, going to be her back in her prime (2004) and what did the critics say? It sounded outdated, overproduced and well.. like the stuff she did in 2004 but not as good. But why did it work in 2004? Because that was needed back then. The Goodies days are over. If she really wants to comeback she's going to have to do POP music or bring something new. But, where is this new material coming from? Not doubting her, but she has her work cut out. There's been big comebacks in the past and I'm not doubting but it has to be HOT. Who thought JLO would do it?! She's gonna need a push, great promotion, and a smart team.
