Jason released his sophomore set "Future History" earlier this year. Behind some of the overly autotuned productions, there are some gems on the album. One of them is Make It Up As We Go. It's one of those sizzling up-tempo tracks that makes you want to get up and dance. It's about letting loose and doing whatever you want in the club because there is "no label on you" It samples a song I heard in one of the Grand Theft Auto tracks. I hope Jason makes this a single further down in his current era.
39. Nicki Minaj - Fly (Feat. Rihanna)
Fly is a very emotional and inspirational track. It quickly became my favorite track on Nicki Minaj's debut album, "Pink Friday"on first listen. The track boasts a Rihanna feature and her features are normally among her best work. The song speaks on soaring above the trials and troubles in life. I admire this side of Nicki, as it shows that there is more to a female rapper than just money, fame and sex.
38. Rihanna- Cockiness (I Love It)
Suck my cockiness, Lick my persuasion commands Rihanna on this urban club banger. The song stems from her 6th studio LP, "Talk That Talk."This is a stand out track on the album because it showcases Rihanna's sexual side with metaphors. It is up to the listener to decipher the lyrics' true meaning. The song makes you want to get up and get down to the chorus as Rihanna makes her lover know that she loves it when he eats it.
37. Britney Spears - Inside Out
THIS is hands down the BEST TRACK on Britney's latest studio effort "Femme Fatale" The song starts off with a simple synth and quickly emerges into pure epicness. Britney sings to her lover, Baby, shut your mouth and turn me inside out.Talk about sexy. Before you think the song could get any better, it breaks down in to a catchy dubstep bridge. I'm looking forward to this song becoming a single.
36. Demi Lovato - Give Your Heart A Break
Demi Lovato, fresh from overcoming personal issues earlier this year, released her 3rd studio album, "Unbroken" a few months ago. The album is great but ONE SONG shines above all others. Give Your Heart A Break starts off with strings as a heavy thumping beat triggers off the amazing verses. The song is similar to Katy Perry's Firework (transition wise). The chorus chimes in as Demi sings Let me give your heart a break... There's just so much you can take. Of course, you can always count on Lovato to hit a note that makes you feel chills all over your body. I hope she sees many a success with this song. It serves as the 2nd single from her latest album.
This video is fun. It has different scenes to rack up all sorts of audiences. You may like Nicki on a motorcycle made of ice, hot, shirtless guys or glow in the dark lap dances. Either way, it would be a lie to say this video isn't exciting. Boasting over 200,000,000 views on YouTube, it's safe to say this video (and song) cemented Nicki into the Pop Industry.
5. Avril Lavigne and Boyfriend Attacked By 5 People.
Avril Lavigne was reportedly attacked by five people. Her boyfriend, Brody Jenner, was hit in the head with a bottle while trying to resolve the issue. Avril then took to twitter and tweeted the following: “I don’t fight. I don’t believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f**ked. As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.”
OMG!
