I think it's easier for her to put out albums every year, she is young. I don't really count her first two, I like to pretend she got started with GGGB. But as she gets older, she probably won't continue like this...but for now it's fine.

People already attacking "they just want hits".

That's pretty obvious. A manager wants success & money, that's why they are in a BUSINESS major. A critically-praised record that sells poorly will not make them as much money. They want money a) for themselves & b) their artist & everyone/everything involved with that artist.

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean Rihanna is making an album merely for hits. She clearly loves what she does in the studio. And she's not a robot who can be told "okay this is what you must do for us". I can only imagine her reaction. It would personify her Twitter posts.

It was, and you're right. Long breaks =/= "putting your all". Though Beyonce did put a lot into B'Day.

Anyway, TTT was created over the span of 7-9 months anyway, so...:deadbanana;

Still following the same formula of LOUD, an album created strictly for hits I see. And he just proved it with that statement, a label puppet she is. His quote does more damage than good, and I disagree with his statement.
