I doubt if this is true though. Why would they publicize it for Iran officials to get wind of it and get our asses first?

What's going to happen when, one of these days, a foreign country's military sets foot on American soil and decides that they don't agree with our government? What happens if they decide to go on a witch hunt and murder all of the country's leaders, along with innocent people? I mean, that's what we've basically done for hundreds of years. Does the government not realize that, if they continue intruding on other people's land, this is inevitable?

That's what I thought, too. But it could have leaked.
But then again, the government wasn't quiet about their plans on hunting down Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi.

Sis, this is exactly why I'm moving to Canada next summer. I'm not proud of what our country does.

But people act like since we're "Americans" then we're protecting the people and trying to bring peace and justice throughout the land. Don't they realize that what we're doing is terrorism in itself? Like I said, I'm 110% positive there's **** our government hides from us that the average person wouldn't agree with. Who's to say we won't get invaded? I'm not here for it. I honestly am ashamed to be American at times. Am I wrong?

The people running the government honestly could careless about that. In the end all they care about are their own self-interests as well as what would benefit OUR country, without taking into consideration the affects that our actions have on other nations. Iran became a "hostile" nation (as we like to call it) because of our own military expenditures and operations that have taken place on both sides of its borders. This sparked the beginnings of nuclear and military build-up in the nation.
This map should sum things up . . .

Ridiculous

South Korea is a bad country in a lot of ways but I prefer it thus far to America. There's so much to hate about that country. Being an American citizen, I should be displaying some sort of nationalism, but it's just hard when the government there makes such horrible decisions so often.

True, they aren't too secretive about what they do and I honestly do feel like it's going to come back to bite them in their asses. America is too cocky for it's own good.

I hope this is false. This would create serious irreversible problems for nearly every nation on this planet if it were true. Iran, unlike Iraq and Afghanistan does possess weapons of mass destruction and is not afraid to use them against Israel. Iran is also backed by the People's Republic of China which sees support from the BRIC nations as well as other international organizations. This could easily lead to all out world wide war with the possible involvement of nuclear weapons which we are definitely not prepared for. PLEASE be false.

You really think China would **** with the USA? That would cripple their economy completely, they wouldn't step in.

Yes, yes, yes! Oh my god, that's exactly how I've always felt. WE are the terrorists that we claim to hate. WE are the cause of our own problems in our country. WE are the enemy. The government has been caught lying to us so many times. And it's sad that they have so much control over the press that the average person would never even know this. Our freedoms are a facade.

That's the sad reality of it all. Our government has never truly cared about us, or our well-being. They only care about their money and natural resources. They're so ****ing greedy; it's sickening. It's even worse that so many Americans are brainwashed into thinking that the government can do no wrong, and that all of the countries that we invade and attack are, indeed, hostile. It's really sad that it's come down to this. And when Iran does attack us, I'll understand; as crazy as that sounds.

You're so lucky that you got out of America. I feel bad for making it sound like America is the worst country in the world, when there are far worse countries, but it really sucks living here. I, as a gay man, don't have equal rights, I'm paying for the government to attack innocent people, and we're all being lied to and cheated by government official. And it's sad that America is so frowned upon in foreign countries. It's embarrassing.

It wasn't nearly as bad as it could and will be, though. I'm talking thousands and thousands of military bombarding us at once on our homeland. How would we win an attack like that?

I agree. It's sad that innocent people will have to suffer, though, all because of the government's mistakes. That's one thing I can't stand about the American government. They're so damn blood thirsty.

Canada is perfect for you, then. Gay marriage is legal there, y'know. One major con is that sales tax is high there, though.
America isn't awful, especially when compared to a ton of other countries around the world, and South Korea isn't that much better, but eh. It's okay.

Their economy is growing by 17%+ at the moment and that's not all from US cheap product shipments. They hold economic strongholds all throughout the African continent (Nigeria to Sub-Saharan Africa) as well as commercial trade pacts with Brazil, Russia, and India which are all growing at massive rates. The U.S. may be "icing on the cake" for China, but it definitely isn't its main source for economic stability anymore.

Yes! Though, I would never in a million years get married; as strange as that sounds. But it would be nice to have the choice, you know? I can handle higher sales tax and cost of living in exchange for more freedoms and less warfare.
True, and that's why I usually don't complain about living here very often. We do have it much better than many other countries. But it's just annoying the America has the perfect land and resources, but wastes it all with ****** government officials and bogus laws.
